7/23/1993Indian National Satellite (INSAT-2B), second satellite in the INSAT-2 series, was launched. This is more operational multi-purpose communication and enhanced meteorology satellite. It is still in service. It was aunched by European Ariane launch vehicle.
7/23/1993Allau'd-din Hasan Gangu alias Jafar Khan. The Muslim kingdom of Bahmani dynasty in the south as Sultan Allau'd-din Khalji. He renamed Gulbarga, his capital as 'Hasanabad'.
